ASMALLWORLD Charity Fundraiser for Somaly Mam
Dear Friends,
Help us stop human trafficking!
More than 2 Million Children and Woman are sold into slavery and forced to work as sex slaves under the worst conditions every year.
Somaly Mam, her self a survivor, is one of the world’s leading human rights activist rescues thousands of children out of brothels every year. It takes a few minutes to take a child out of a brothel, but it takes years to rebuild his soul and prepare him for life!
After visiting the shelter built by Somaly and her team in Siem Reap, we promised our selfs to take action and help her with concrete financial support!
We are raising EUR 150'000.- to expand the shelter in Siem Reap. It will provide facilities for day care, medical treatment rooms.
EUR 40’000 were raised by 130 ASMALLWORLD Members at the ASW Winter Weekend in Gstaad and we are confident that the missing portion will be contributed by you and the community. As a community, we can move mountains, so lets do it!
